Must be just me as ive seen no posts yet on this issue, but yesterday i reinstalled ie8 and now when i visit www.planetmule.com i get a big white void on the left side of the screen under "news" where the previous weekly winners are announced/version updates. Im assuming i downloaded and older or unupdated version of ie but i cant find any "new" download for ie8 that will fix this. And this is the ony website so far that is missing txt...can anyone help??

Obligatory smug Freetard quip: switch to Firefox (or should it be Chrome for the proper level of smuggery?)

Now for the serious answer: have you tried deleting your local cache directories for IE? What about cleaning up the "temporary internet files" folder, that might do the trick. Probably some little thing's been downloaded & cached on your machine and it's acting up when you visit the planetmule page.

Hope This Helps

Just as a note (I use Firefox typically) but you probably can get IE to behave by resetting all settings in the advance setting menu of IE.  It wipes all cookies, activex data, how it handles frames and pages, compatibility view, etc to default, which sometimes scrambles during upgrade from previous versions.

Just might work.
