Hi, just wanted to say thanks for the new 1.3.6. release for Linux. Now I have sounds, which will help hear when the game is ready to start. I tried a few linux distros and I found that Linux mint worked best when I wanted to run linux from a live image (USB stick). The only problem I had was when pressing F5 for full screen, I needed to use alt+tab to find the full screen window.The problems I had with other distros may be the result of my hardware - I only ran it on my laptop which has some compatibility issues with Linux.

The Windows7 version was an experiment to drop the mule code on top of the newer java engine, it's not fully compatible with 1.7.
The WindowsXP/Vista version is built on 1.6 (which is what it was developed under) and that is the only difference between the two. Use the WindowsXP/Vista version and it will work fine. |
