I've got a C64, but no games 'cause the disk drive is missing the power cord (it's a 3rd party brand, not standard). Even if I did have the games, I couldn't play them.

Real pity.
2  Planet Mule 2 / Ideas / Re: Race Attributes on: March 23, 2011, 21:16
You are in luck. I am a tester for MULE 2 and race attributes seem to already be in place. Some are a tad overpowered though.

these alternate fairly and aren't set for the whole game though.
I wrote that during the 0.24 beta, when they did stick.

Really, I thought being kicked counted as abandoned.
No, for some reason, a kick doesn't count as an abandon; while a disconnect, that wasn't your fault, does.
Peter REALLY needs to fix that...
4  Planet Mule 1 / Bugs 1.3.x / This game can't host on an internal network on: March 21, 2011, 18:15
To access the internet, I use a WiFi network. This connects my computer to a router that connects it to the internet. There is a flaw in the current version that, if on an internal network, when you host, the game uses your internal IP. This is a problem in that all web connection are made using the external IP. No one will be able to connect to my game if the game thinks my IP is 127.0.0.1. Even if i could forward my ports properly, this would keep me from hosting. Is there any way to fix this, short of using a different computer?
5  M.U.L.E. Community / The Wampus Cave / Re: Why do people resort to generic name calling? on: March 19, 2011, 22:44
If you think that, you haven't played with ZX81 yet. Grin Seriously, if you need to keep a blacklist containing info about players, do it. That way you can go throatcutter on those players in future games and those comments can make you laugh instead of offending while you watch them being crushed. >:3 Nyah-hahaha! (By doing that you might run the risk of gradually becoming a troll, so be careful.) =^?_?^=

Just take your time, whenever you do something that makes the game harder for the others, you have a good chance of being called something like that. Just keep a thing in mind for later: "Payback time".

Wanna see my blacklist?

Ymar                  - leaves in round 2 regularly
DarkHelmet          - all around prick
Akire1                 - do I even need to explain
Simpla the Best    - alias of akire1
Uschi                 - alias of akire1
Eumel-123          - alias of akire1
dontspeakenglish - alias of akire1
Sunblock            - acts like akire1

(Any aliases of Akire1 have an IP that begins with 84.141.xxx.xxx. Watch out for it!)

Does it count as an abandon when you get kicked out of a game?
No, but for some reason, it does when your internet disconnects...
7  M.U.L.E. Community / General Discussion / Re: Prot problems on: March 13, 2011, 04:14
I think the problem is in that I use a system with a wifi router connected to a cable modem. I was once able to forward a port through it, thought that was  years ago, and I can't remember how I did it. All I remember is that it was a HUGE headache.

Step 1. Avoid Akire1, he is an #@!$$@!$.
(aliases of said player include: Simpla the Best, Uschi, Eumel-123, and dontspeakenglish)
Step 2. Watch the training video, I can not stress this enough.
Step 3. Play some training games, locally hosted.

I've heard that SunBlock acts line Akire1.
10  Planet Mule 1 / Planet M.U.L.E. 1 Discussion / Re: Kicks on: March 07, 2011, 20:43
Things to never do in Planet Mule:
1) accuse ZX81 of sleeping.
2) play a game hosted by Akire1 or aliases of said player.
3) Sell Cristite for less than $100.
4) Sell smithore for less than $175.
5) Kick players for no reason.
6) play a game hosted by Akire1 or aliases of said player.
7) number 6.

I rather like the bot:auctions command because in real life, when you go to an auction, you know how many things are for sale. In fact, you'd also know WHAT is for sale instead of it being random.

I actually LIKE the auction info. Helps me plan strategy accordingly.

Guy burned the store to make ore expensive. SAY IT!!!

I have no idea what you're talking about. The fires on Irata are an unpredictable, naturally occurring phenomenon.  Wink
He had a freaking GAS CAN SPILLED ON THE STORE WHILE HOLDING A MATCH in comic 2. Furthermore, the fire was most intense WHERE THE GAS CAN WAS!!!

(note: I do not see sarcasm very easily.)

No, I would not like Frys or even a Soda.  I prefer Onion Rings and a Shake.

Onions??? You don't prefer cheezburger? Or a HellburgerTM, but you have to be fast to deal the first bite with that one.
You both realize that I could change my sig at any moment, making your comments out of place and stupid? Tongue
