LoL it isnt an exploit...... It is an aid

An exploit for example, is using the game mechanics to disguise your assay result by catching the wumpus instantly after completing an assay!

Aid - Exploit 2 different things

Chuckie....  It's an Orange!

Null....  It's not an orange.  It's flipping Yellow and looks like a bananna!

Chuckie....  It's a rock!

Null...  How can it be a rock if it's moving???

Chuckie....  Thats against the law!!!

Null...  Whats against the law???  The rock or the orange!

Chuckie.... You're an idiot!

Null....  How am I an idiot?

Chuckie....  It's a YELLOW ORANGE thats shaped like a bananna orange because I'm a nurse.

Null...  WHAT?Huh

Chuckie... It was a PRIVATE Orange!

Null... Who cares.  get a life man.  Really!

Now that my friend is comical genious!

You are both very opinionated people, and i know since i have been here chuckie is someone who helps people ALOT especially new players to MULE. Having read the original 'public' response and resulting fallout i can offer my humble opinion on the matter.

I personally believe that when chuckie sent you the PM it was with all good intentions in helping someone new avoid potential problems on here, and while i agree that some of the points he made were basic and may have seemed aimed at someone with little knowledge of the game, they were made in good faith and purpose. I certainly wouldnt have interpreted them in the way you did Null.

You had a poor start for sure on your account for sure but so what your still here and as you say it was unintentional. Im sure you now understand why the regular players assume the worst sometimes and treat newer players as such. I think if you choose to publically post chuckies pm then thats fair game, you havnt signed a data protection act on PlanetMule so fine, the fact that you chose to call him out on it again is your choice it makes no odds, in fact if anything i wouldnt have an opinion on this if i hadnt seen what u posted.

Chuckie your assumption that private is private, im afraid you have taken too literally in this case. In my opinion applying the confidentiality of someone health care documents to a planetmule pm does amuse me somewhat. I understand it is a doctrine of sorts that you live by but you cant realistically expect that everyone you meet holds the same high standards in confidentiality. That is a big assumption! If someone sent me a PM that i found derogatory or offensive (not that i believe yours was) in someway i might be inclined to post it publicly also.

You should both agree to disagree and understand that your arguments will go on endlessly until someone chooses not to respond, i dont care either way as its an interesting read from where im sat.

Just looking at it from a different NEUTRAL point of view.

who actually cares about rank apart from the scammers such as akire? (i cant see any other reason than a rank epeen for scamming people out of wins)

I have only played about 40 games or something and i have beaten rodz and lost to players ranked 2k, dosnt matter one bit what number i have next to my name, at least not to me. The important things i would say are your reliability and win % becuase they are nice to knows.

Everyone knows if your a good player or not after playing with you a few times, simple as that.

I can confirm the above to be true.

As the host of the game, in round 11 Gohar and Mary both disconnected from the game (unintentionally) at the beginning of the auction round, if my memory serves correctly it was smithore auction?. Both disconnections happened instantly with no prior lag or warning of latency issues.

The plot selections were a little slow but otherwise latency wasnt too bad prior to this happening.

AI instantly assumed the places of the DC'd players, Spoonwood and I were unaffected.

I was unaware that some of you guys had win% were that high!!, but certainly the 60% and above is suspect and as already stated the host reliability is a big give away Tongue

welcome to PM mate,

I asked for a black list to be compiled on the forums to avoid this sort of thing happening to new players. Luckily my first game was with proper players. Either way just check the amount of games the host has played and also his win percentage, even the top ranked players generally dont have win percentages over 40% or there abouts.

Youll get to know who are the real players and how to spot smurfs and griefers/cheats.

he quit on our game at turn 11 so it wasnt like he left us hanging, i agree with above posts but noone would quit at turn 11 intentionally especially as he was not hosting and in last place.

he just needs some time management skills Tongue
