C64 all the way!  I remember long hours at the computer at my aunt and uncle's house, my cousins' pleas to come play baseball or ride bikes falling on uninterested ears.   
M.U.L.E., once we figured it out (uncle had a lot of pirated C64 games with no manuals), was one of the games that convinced my cousin that the great indoors wasn't so bad.
