You sell land late to ruin games your no longer competetive in or because your pissed. have seen your act 1st hand. Guy's like you need to be BANNED from Planetmule !!!


I just ran across this same error today when I sold land plots in the 10th round of a game. I didn't know that the mule online game is flawed and broken at the moment. Now people think i have evil intent when all i wanted to do was sell land to try to get back into a game that i losing. I didn't know till now that you can't sell land in the game anymore which ruins a big part of this game. This fatal flaw should be posted on the front page of the mule website immediately cause other users are going to suffer my fate of being blacklisted for not knowing that part of the mule program is broken. I now have people who have banned me from playing them cause i was using what i thought was a legitimate strategy of selling land plots. Until this flaw is fixed i'm going to have to stop playing mule which is unfortunate.

Damn proud of that. Unlike guys who play 50 games a week and search out Wimpy competition to stack stats and wins i played 14 games against top competition. In your face to all the guys who play night and day every day to get a badge. Patting myself on the back.

I think Planetmule would be as close to perfect as you can get if not for 2 things. I dont agree on 1st round auctions given the random order of each players starting position and the plot award/takeaway should either be removed or come after round 4.  It's retarded when a player starts a game in the #1 or #2 position and misses out on 1st round auctions and then loses a plot the next round because he is still in the #1 or #2 spot based on the fact that he didnt get a 1st round plot. You start out down 3 plots to 1 to the competition all based on your random starting position. Only way to avoid the situation is pay $976 1st round and hope that works out or hope you can get lucky and avoid disaster the first few rounds

I have the atari version. It sucks compared to Planetmule

We use to play the atari 800 version for many years.   I last played this about a year ago and see nothing has changed.

1.  Smirthore can be raised from 60 to 230 in one round.   Could not be done in real version
2.  Wampus too easy to catch
3.  Racking up land auctions to 1k plus round 1 is way too fast.
4.  Skipping food plots in original was more painful to the players that went smithore with no food.

As before just making it exactly like the original should have been the target vs reinventing the wheel.

I think players that have never played the original can just adjust to the new quirks.  But as a old die hard mule player I think I'll try back in another year and see if this has been updated.

I suggest playing the Atari Version like 50 times then go back to this one and you will have a better understanding.

Its got potential, and it 2011 I would think copying a 1980s 8 bit game would not be that difficult.  Apparently the original programmer was exceptionally gifted.

What kind of limit? Like after 12 games your out of the race? , or most games won in shortest amount of games played?

I bet that type of change would be bottom of the list of things to fix.

Best thing for you mt wamp, is to lock yoself in a room when you take your next 2week vaca....Boom you get a badge!

Better things to do on vacation! Guys who have lives and jobs have no shot. Count the first 20 games played per week or something. Working man has no shot at a badge while the basement dwellers they are supporting are taking home the Gold. No justice. I have seen as many as 72 games(Mary) played in a week for a badge. Thats not even fun anymore. that's just sick

He played 38games last week, like i said if i had more time to play i would have...then i would have wiped my ass with the smurfette and took his gold bling bling. If we had played the same amount last week id have him, its not me being cocky , its just logic as i know i can beat smurfette on any given sunday. He always pulls plots rd11/12 and it fails most the time lol

He actually played 46 games and is another example of INSANITY over a badge! Should be a limit! let the working man have a chance.

   Huge joke watching dude's play 50-60 games per week to get a gold badge. Should be a law! just once i would like to see a guy play only 18 games and get a Gold badge. That would impress me! Not a dude getting 18 wins on 60 games!

              There has been a huge rash of Troublemakers and quitters at Planetmule lately. I am getting to the point where i can ONLY play guys i know and cant even chance playing unknowns and certainly not new guy's. Sure wish there was some way to clean this place up! Planetmule is starting to look like Detroit.

  Hello all, I noticed it was a lile slow last night. Played 3games...rodz beat me by 500 my first game, ugh. But it was fun, glad to be back. I got a new router so im still working on hosting and I also tried to load up mule 2 but got a connection error each time with a I/0 after. Can any1 help me with this as id like to try mule 2, playing all by myself with no ai was boring and ive waited sooo long.

ps. dont forget to feed me

I got the free plot in a game today in 2nd place AGAIN. I was Purple. Almost made me mad to get the plot! Why is 2nd place getting plots and packages and such? 2nd place should NEVER get a good event.

PTrik and I have noticed in some 3 or 4 consecutive games now that the orange players has gotten the free plot of land.  Of course, this could just come as a strange coincidence, but I thought I'd point this out in case it continues.

Thats the reason i am against 1st round auctions. 4th place gets the plot they want plus first shot at buying up Ore/Energy/Food. Because of all those advantages i dont have a huge problem with 4th place not getting many random events. MULE is probably the only game i know where you actually plan on playing bad enough to avoid being in 1st place because 1st place gets TO MANY bad events not to mention last shot at everything accross the board.

A very glaring issue in round 1 is how much the game favors the player who was randomly awarded last place. Not only do they get dibs on the plot of their choice, but in the games where there's a round 1 land auction they will automatically win it at $972 unless someone intentionally overpays.  That's a HUGE advantage since they will most likely begin round 2 in last as well.
