Been playing MULE since I was a kid on the NES. Now in my 20’s and I’ve discovered the Atari800 version which I prefer immensely. Just joined to find some good games of MULE but found that I really enjoy the planet mule software so far as well. Anything I should know? Tips? Differences?

Several months ago I stumbled upon my old NES copy of MULE. My friends and girlfriend were obviously unfamiliar so we started playing. As is customary, everyone got addicted and when we looked for a better way to play, we found Planet Mule. However the signup page required for online play was broken. I sent an email to the daughter of MULE’s creator, Melanie Bunten, and after having a great conversation with her about her father’s work, she helped get it fixed for me. Thank you Dan and Melanie for the work you’ve done to let us have some fun.
