sorry i should have stated this was in the land grant phase, although i have seen in a few instances that it also happens in the auctions

the last 3 games i have played, i have missed out on a plot by someone ranked higher than me in the game.
i don't know if it is because of my high ping or what but it seems to occur later in the game than early.

why is my port is open on udp and not tcp?

 
can anyone assist me.
 i have port forwarding successfully a number of times and in the past, on this computer and others. i lost the connection and have tried any number of times lately and now it wont work. i have used portforward.com to check to see if the port is open but it is only open on udp not on tcp and therefore i cant host
i have tried all sorts of things to make it work but cant get it to go.
any ideas would be welcome, and yes i have followed instructions on how to do it and do the same as i have done in the past
