You probably have, however, Did you look into a new card? You may be able to pick one up cheap and you can still play MULE while saving for the new computer....
Just a thought....

I believe mary has a monitor issue and orange / purple appear the same so it is very hard for her to know which plots as hers...I know lots of players who prefer purple for the same reason...
She is an interesting opponent - but honest - she is in it to win and will do whatever it takes.
Please understand that a lot of the higher ranked players have over 600 games (about 900 HOURS) and we have played a SIGNIFICANT number of new players when it was just the core group that I mentioned in my previous post. I don't think that it is eltism on the part of the higher rankers....just the fact that we have been impacted (and wasted ALOT more time) when it comes to new player issues (lack of knowledge,quitting etc).
I will play any / all of the ranked players and I will also play NEWBIES as long as they have read the "how-to", played the original version and played at least 1 training game. If a plyer shows promise, I am happy to give them tips to bring up their level of play as the better all players, the better the game.
If you think there is slim pickings NOW for new players...should have been here about a year ago.

In mary's defence, please remember that for quite a long time, there was a core group of maybe a dozen players who played against each other regularly, and we have known about this issue (actaully a couple of more MULERS who need blue/green because color blindness) - mary has also been very clear that she is Italian and her english skills are very poor.
I also agree that one option is to NOT play her anymore, however, sometimes you have to play with who is available unless you want to wait (and we all know that can be a LONG ASSED WAIT).
I have played many games against mary and have never had any issues, so she is NOT on my DNP list and I also look foward to playing aginst you again as well Flap.
MOST of the HIGH rank Players got there through HUNDREDS of game and MOST do not do shit like that (YES there are a couple of DICKHEADS in the higher ranks) - in General, they are a good bunch of players.

fire - please do not be discouraged by the actions of a few, in general, most the "vets" are decent and do not use harsh names (ZX excluded but that's just ZX), and will try to help you out.
Stay around long enough and you will find that most games have no issues HOWEVER, on occasion, you may have to tolerate an idiot to get a game in.

That was YOUR WIN firewalkwithme - I have been messed up on food LOTS and starved for many rounds - I take my lumps as it was MY ERROR - if 3 players did this at the same time and left one with an advantage, which he then used, well so be it. 3 players get to starve - IT IS NOT JUSTIFICATION to kick him.
Maplefish stated it PERFECTLY.
firewalkwithme, join my game anytime - I will not kick you if you gain that advantage in one of my games.
Please remember all....in real life he would have sold and got as much as he could for the food as opposed to letting it rot.
As to the "need" justification - be careful what you wish for - someday someone might "need" something you have and will take it because they "need" it.
