i can host through zone alarm fine. i need to run zone alarm on medium settings to correctly use all my online programs, if your security settings are on 'high' chances are zone alarm isn't letting your computer send or receive resources correctly, so try putting it on medium first, before disabling zone alarm.

I just finished the two most aggravating games of MULE that I have ever played. My aggressors would probably tell me to "Grow up" or "Learn to play the game better", but I don't really care. The fact is that they ruined the fun for me and the other players in the pursuit of obtaining a higher rank.
I expect this kind of behavior from people playing Halo or Left 4 Dead, but I didn't expect it from MULE. I thought this community was better than this. I am very disappointed.
tell me about it, I had this guy who bought up all the mules on purpose and released them, and got called a noob as if i was playing halo when I complained about it.

is this when playing with other players? My game runs slow too if a host is bad, and it runs slow if I play by myself, because the game is always in network mode even if you play with yourself and 3 computers.

I think if there are new rules set, it should be optional [being able to pick what rules when you create the room IE: M.U.L.E classic, M.U.L.E new] But I definitely would like some improvement in the Artificial Intelligence, or a difficulty setting for them, they are too predictable. One example would be when they sell smithore at a very low price, the first person to intercept them selling it makes off with a fortune when smithore reaches the 200's.

Even when playing local, the FPS drops during turns with myself and computers. After restarting the game a few times it was running smooth as silk, today slow again. I can't figure out what caused it to run smoothly, can anyone point me in the right direction? My drivers are up to date and so is my java, running windows xp sp 2 3ghz processor 1gb ram 128mb video ram, thanks.
