I thought there were still debates going on as to whether MULE is a EA copyright or copyright of the original programmer. As for the original sprites, for some reason I would suspect they'd be public domain. But I am not entirely certain.

http://www.planetmule.com/hi-score-game/game?game_id=5019I also had sync issues with this game. I was talking with my friend and he had a completely different amount of money in his game vs mine and vice versa. I couldn't help but notice a lot of pauses throughout the game too. I think it has something to do with players with high ping rates. I was hosting in canada and my friend is in australia, I suspect that would affect the game just a tad.

Planet Mule 1 / Old Bugs 1.0 / If no one can join your game READ THIS.

Make sure your IP is your internal static IP in your port forwarding. In windows you can find this out by going to start>run>cmd>ipconfig. You should have an IP that says 192.168.0.* (the * being whatever your # is.) If you use the IP planet mule gives you or a browser gives you, you will have issues.
If anyone knows how to find your Static Internal IP in mac os please post it here so people having problems can know about it.

Planet Mule 1 / Old Bugs 1.0 / Re: Can only connect as visitor, no one can connect to my game

Thanks for the link and it continues to confirm my ports are not open and my connection continues to time out. I still do not know what I am doing wrong through. As far as I understand the port forwarding site, I have opened 6260. I have allowed all incoming and out going connections for mule in MacOS 10.5 and Windows XP and neither OS can seem to get this game working online with other people. I've even gone so far as to turn off all firewalls and antivirus software, hook directly to the DSL modem, and STILL no luck (and now I'm paranoid at how many security breaches could have happened within that time frame.) This is driving me NUTS.
Don't get me wrong, I love this game. But I am honestly more than a little frustrated at this point.

Planet Mule 1 / Old Bugs 1.0 / Can only connect as visitor, no one can connect to my game

I've followed the FAQ and went to the port forwarding site and set up my dlink DIR-615 router for the TCP/UDP ports 6260 to allow all as shown in the attached screenshot. I am currently running macOS 10.5 and as far as I can tell nothing else should be blocking the game.
When I join certain peoples games, I can see their characters and use the chat box, but my name is grayed out and listed in visitors. I cannot join when I hit the J button; Hitting the button does nothing, no feedback what-so-ever. Also, I've encountered other people with this error, and we cannot connect to each others games. This sounds like a router issue but I honestly am not sure what I've done wrong in the settings.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
