Title: Three things i like to see in Planet MULE Post by: praider on July 08, 2010, 16:14 These are the 3 things I would like to see in Planet M.U.L.E.
1. A choice to play the updated theme song or the classic theme song from the Commodore 64 or Atari 800 version. To me its not mule unless I hear that driving beat from the original version. 2. Better joystick support. I want to be able to plug in my USB Atari stick and play without having to use a key to joystick software. 3. It be nice to see a dedication to Dani Bunten. If it wasn't for her we would not even be here. Title: Re: Three things i like to see in Planet MULE Post by: Rogue Cat on July 18, 2010, 21:03 I'm not sure about first and second one, as it is just another way of customization. I'm sure that with time, we'll see a bastly improved version allowing us to do that. As for using a joystick, I'm too used to keyboard now, so I see no point in damaging our relics to play. ;D
About third point, agree 100%. You made this game as a tribute/improving to the original game, but you don't even mention Bunten in the credits??? Even when this is a classic for most of us and we already know about it, you should add the name into the credits. Just for respect/memory to its creators and a direct descendant we have among us in the forum. ;D Title: Re: Three things i like to see in Planet MULE Post by: data2008 on July 19, 2010, 10:05 You made this game as a tribute/improving to the original game, but you don't even mention Bunten in the credits??? It is missing the credits in 1.2.4, but let me assure you this is not missing by intention, but rather it should be fixed with any new version. What sense would it make to not let the players now, if we do it on our website and even name the AI units to the original crew? I am sure we had the credits in the first versions under the "about" button in the game, just like we have the credits here under the "About" on our website. Sorry for not having noticed this sooner! |
