Title: Connot connect to master server. Post by: Boomsha on June 08, 2010, 18:22 I've forwarded my ports exactly how im supposed to and it still says connection timed out.
Attachments: 1. The first attachment is a screen shot of my router page. Tell me if i did it right. 2. I don't know what version of Norton i have so here's the page. Look for port forwarding, also assigning a static IP to your computers MAC hardware address will help this config stick permanently.
2. Norton might be the local software firewall blocking you, it might also be Windows Firewall, and or a host of other software you may or may not have... by all means feel free to disable them all, just temporarily, and see if that fixes the problem. Then work on "configuring" them to let Mule through once you are sure its the cause of the issue... I.e. start with the Router, then tackle the piggy bloatware known as Norton. Try out some free AV from Grisoft or Avast, its equally bloaty and annoying, but its free! Good luck. |
