Title: Changing character Post by: Core Xii on February 17, 2010, 17:16 Why can't we change our characters? It's cosmetic only, with no effect on gameplay. And if gameplay effects were introduced, you definitely would need to allow everyone to re-select their characters anyway or it wouldn't be fair.
When I created my account I hadn't even played the game, I had absolutely no idea what the characters look like in-game. So I chose the safe option, human. But now I realize that it's also the boring option, and want to select better, now that I'm more informed. if more people request it, we can look into a quick fix. a more elaborate fix would include remembering what species you played at what time/games for historic reasons.
