although heresy to the pure mules:
1. a larger playing field
2. more than 4 players
3. construction phase simultaneous for all players
no more turnbased construction. every player goes about buying and building at the same time.
4. plot allocation i'd keep, but perhaps randomize the selector (<-weak idea I admit)
5. keep the auction systeem, that's fun
