Title: Updated version for Classic hardware... RAM expansions, Hard Disks & Stuff Post by: Kyle on January 09, 2010, 07:37 Hi everyone.
What I would like to see is an updated version of this wonderful game for the Atari 8-bit, now that we have large hard disks, and more colors on screen (IDE drives running with SpartaDOS-X), (APAC mode) 256K and more RAM.... Also, the Sega Genesis is a great machine. Especially 32xCD systems. I understand there was a M.U.L.E. made for the Genesis, but never released. All of the many Genesis fans would love it! Thanks for your time! -Kyle Title: Re: Updated version for Classic hardware... I like your idea, but I doubt anyone would want to do that now. Why bother spending all that time writing a new game for an 8-bit computer when there is practically no chance of anyone buying it? I think it is better suited that the developers continue working on the PC, and perhaps porting to modern consoles like PS3, X360 and Wii, and of course Windows Mobile ::)

Here is a list of downloadable freeware C64 games: http://www.pouet.net/prodlist.php?type%5B%5D=game&platform%5B%5D=Commodore+64 For example: Amiga Pinball Dreams conversion (http://www.pouet.net/screenshots/24499.png) And here of Atari: http://www.pouet.net/prodlist.php?type%5B%5D=game&platform%5B%5D=Atari+XL%2FXE For example: Yoomp! It's just a hunch, in which case developing it for an 8-Bit system would be practically futile.

Put some ads in the site (or even in-game, what about Gollumers wearing Nike shoes? Or the food auction sign sponsored by Burger King?), but don't make it shareware! |
