Title: Unable to play single/multiplayer: Socket Exception Post by: DrJonez on December 06, 2009, 08:03 I can't seem to even start a single player game. Every time I do, I get this:
(http://www.deskbreaker.com/drjonez/images/mulefail.jpg) It shouldn't matter since I'm playing a local game, but I forwarded the ports and I'm still encountering the issue. I'm running Vista Ultimate 64 bit, if that matters. Help! :( Title: Re: Unable to play single/multiplayer: Socket Exception Post by: Tobias on December 06, 2009, 09:03 Thanks for the bug report, we'll look into it.

Title: Re: Unable to play single/multiplayer: Socket Exception Post by: Peter on December 06, 2009, 19:05 We will fix this in the next version but if you want to get it working right away follow these instructions:
On Windows (NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 or other): Open the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in a text editor You will have a line reading ::1 localhost Change that to 127.0.0.1 localhost If you don't have a line with "localhost" just add the line above. Loving the game so far now that I can play :) |
