Title: The A.I. is going energy crazy
Post by: vaylen on December 31, 2009, 23:55
It's bad enough the A.I. puts energy on almost every plot. I just played a game where an A.I. who already had 5 energy plots had one destroyed by a meteor. Instead of putting crystite there, it put an energy MULE there!  Unbelievable!

This isn't specific to energy; the AI generally seems to weight production bonuses very heavily, so it will often keep on expanding in whatever commodity it's already producing.

I know Kroah's doc outlines the development strategy pretty cleanly, and I'm sure after I get done with the Beginner's Guide and the listing of known suggestions/issues, I could present it here.

I don't think Kroah's got the AI Trading heuristics decoded yet, though - that's a real important one too, what with the way it does or doesn't sell to people
