Is it possible to add an AI player to a game that is hosted by one of the Bots? If so, how?

I have found the answer.
For future seekers of this arcane knowledge:

When joining a bot based game, you can type the following command to bring up a full list of available game commands:

bot:?

Thusly, to add an AI / Computer player to your game:

bot:addai

YAY!
