Title: Atari's return also marks Jagov's re-emergence Post by: jagov808 on May 02, 2015, 16:24 I had the pleasure of getting back in action today. I spent an absolutely thrilling 53 minutes in the lobby waiting for a game to go off. We had 3 half filled servers, and four or five lurkers (including the great Atari400). The tension was palpable. Best part of the game, never knowing when a game would begin. One gets a real sense of euphoria and adrenaline rush from all the waiting. Nothing compares except for perhaps mainlining Ovaltine.
No other game can offer such a visceral rush. Title: Re: Atari's return also marks Jagov's re-emergence Post by: atari400 on May 02, 2015, 23:22 sorry i played till 3 am est Friday night and didn't disconncet sorry im usually around 5pm to 1 am est

I could only muster a 2nd place while Atari cruised to victory. One could expect nothing less. He must have had many Ovaltine-soaked late nights watching VHS tapes of Nordel games from the 80's. Clearly the effort paid off. After such an elongated absence I found it difficult to match wits with a man who spent months away from the game analysing himself and the world for any gaps in knowledge. Atari is a rising star. There's even talk that one day he could be in the Earl, NJ tier of play. Optimists are hopeful that he could even go all the way and become the next Htman, although competition with Cyber Ranger for that vaunted title will be fierce.
