Planet M.U.L.E.

Hey everybody, boss here with an important announcement! I understand some here are not what we would call "Experts" at the game of M.U.L.E... In fact, I myself had never even heard of the game since last Saturday  :D

So that is why I am organizing a little (or big, if needed) weekly dealio known as NOOB WEDNESDAYS! The rules for these weekly meetings are as follows:

1) Despite the name, anyone can join! This is meant to be a great way for players to introduce themselves to each-other and engage in humorous antics
2) Use constructive criticism! We understand you are the best MULE player ever, in the history of the universe, but no need to yell at little Timmy for picking the wrong mountain to hunt wampus at! Tell them what they did wrong, and how they can fix it!
3) Rooms will ALWAYS be titled "Noob Wednesday", nothing else! Accept no impostors, we are the real deal!
4) A sign up sheet will be kept in this thread, and as we play more and more games, I may start to track your stats, including how many meetings you attend!
5) For added fun, to sign up, pick a role from the list below, and I will put you in :)
6) Admin status must be earned out of trust, and will give you an imaginary license and your name in this thread saying you can help keep the order, and start new rooms when needed.
7) Obvious from the name, meetings are every Wednesday at 5 pm from now till the end of all eternity, so a membership will hold great value! Get em' while they last! (Figure of speech, I will add new positions if I run out  ;) )

Supreme Overnoob: Me, beatthelastboss!
Assistant Overnoob: None yet!
Vice Assistant Overnoob: None yet!
Secretary to the Vice Assistant Overnoob: None yet!
Secret, yet important person: None yet!
Wampus hunter: None yet!

Guy who plays EXACTLY like a bot: None yet! Apply now!

Slightly oldish person that is in no way related to Old guy, and has no future plan to do so: deb_oh_canada
Old guy apprentice: Hardboiled Lobster

Like I said, I will add more roles as needed. I hope you have as much fun playing these games as I did making the roles for them  ;D

Can I be Old guy apprentice? I'm new, I need glasses, have bad hearing, and tend to forget things a lot. If not then Generic Henchman #1 sounds good too!

I am submitting my application for Henchman. Any job in this economy is good. I grew up playing M.U.L.E. on my Atari 800XL as a kid. That being said it has been a long time. :)

Also a former Atari M.U.L.E junkie - however, was already an adult at that time, and have never played any sort of video game post that!! 

Glad to take any role you care to assign seeing as the appropriate "Old Guy" is gone.  Old Gal, maybe?

This is just the sort of thing I was looking for! Even after figuring out the ropes I'm honestly quite afraid to play with random people who may have the game down to a science. I'm not very scientific. I would cry.

In any case, I'd love to join this troupe. We could put on economic shows =D

Also, what time is "5 pm"? Is that PST, EST, UTC (The timer shows -11 days? D=)?

Since time has become an issue, how about we just let random "Noob Wednesday" games pop up all over? By the way, I wasn't able to start one yesterday because I am at a home without forwarded ports during the holidays! Speaking of which, merry Christmas everyone!
