Title: Just A Thought Post by: fleur on October 14, 2014, 04:42 Hello everyone. I'm just wondering why M.U.L.E can not be play in tablet and in laptop?
Title: Re: Just A Thought Post by: jagov808 on October 14, 2014, 17:56 Tablets typically have different operating systems (OS) from personal computers, some are running an OS called iOS and others are running something called Android.
Think of an operating system as a different language. The game M.U.L.E. is created by writing lines of code. Think of it as writing a book. If you write your book in French, as an English speaker I will be unable to understand large parts of your story. If you can not run M.U.L.E. on your laptop then you need to either enroll in a college course teaching basic computing skills or return your laptop for a full refund. I hope this answers your questions. We love to see frenchies here, helps to balance out the preponderance of Baltic peoples we have here. If you are interested in receiving an autographed poster of Nordel's bronzed torso please write in to the Nordel Fan Club and we will ship one out once we have your details. Hope to see you in the games soon. I'm sure your problem is easily solved. For some people it can be as easy as cutting back on their daily Ovaltine consumption so they can operate with a clear head. With some adaptation Android probably could fairly simply based on the roots in linux, but there are also complicated differences in interface over the standard PC.
At this point, Mule runs under Java on MacOSx, Linux/Unix, and Windows based computer. It can be easily adapted to any platform running Java 1.6 with out to much difficulty I think, but those three pretty much cover that. The way the game was intended to be played. I think a waterproof mule playing device would be a spectacular boon for the game.

Title: Re: Just A Thought Post by: jagov808 on October 31, 2014, 15:28 Super discussion folks! Let's try and build on the momentum sj and mike brought us with their keen insights
The game is constantly evolving thanks to the hard work of Nordel and a few others. Now players from all over can actually play on pcs which is big news for our kazakh fans who have fewer macs . Once we get the official Ovaltine affiliation huge dollars will pour Iinto the mule community. NJ has personally donated over a million dollars of his personal time as a beta tester for this incredible piece of software. . |
