Title: Gohar's charitable contribution to the community Post by: jagov808 on May 02, 2014, 20:52 host4u: Final Results:

We should hand out humanitarian awards to Gohar. No other elite since CBASS has done as much to help mentor B.I.L.L. and A.D.A.M. develop a solid foundation in the game. AlpenCactus clearly put up a tough battle but Gohar stayed the course and through sheer determination prevailed giving a great example to the two young bots what might one day be possible for them. It is refreshing to see this attitude amongst the elites. Others sit in the lobby and sneer with arrogance at the competition and refuse to play. Just the other day Rhodan refused to play a match with MuleFox. Imagine that! Who else since Atari400 has had such a charming personality when expressing ignorant indignance. MuleFox is a character to be cherished. Kudos to Gohar! She resorted to all her tricks to get at them, but wearied herself in vain, for she could not reach them. At last she turned away, hiding her disappointment and saying: 'The Grapes are sour, and not ripe as I thought.'"
Title: Re: Gohar's charitable contribution to the community Post by: Gohar on May 03, 2014, 02:05 I used to play ZX81 against 2 bots a fair bit in the good old pre-bot era. He was very very good at them and would beat me as a result. Rather than be a sourpuss about it, I decided that I would simply try to get better at playing bots myself.
Related to this, early in my planet mule days I grew tired of following the mindset of some players with regard to AI, and decided that rather than waiting around endlessly for human only games, I would instead just start a game of mule, even if it meant there was going to be a bot. There are some who prefer only 4 humans. That is fine, and it is their prerogative. For me, it doesn't matter much. If you ask me, it actually seems quite a silly thing that anyone would even care about how, or with whom, others play. That said, for clarity, I would like to make it clear that I think comparisons with CBASS are misleading, as he would use his own bots to boost his true rank score by fooling the computer into thinking he was playing against other humans, which is totally different to the mere playing of games with ordinary bots. Title: Re: Gohar's charitable contribution to the community Post by: Death_Mule17 on May 03, 2014, 06:10 Actually gohar, comparing you with cbass is a compliment to you! you are at the moment playing 2 no names and a bot....earlier today you bitched out of a game with 3elites and back to lobby to hunt noob/bot meat. The difference is cbass had an ego and would not back down from any elite challenges. you on the other hand...well we all know. Gold badge hungry much goh? check out your last 20games, it tells a story about an elite bitch gone limp.

All this is not hard to notice to a normal thinking person, as for noobs catching on to this....well, a slow learning curve might be the reason(see cyber ranger) Welp, happy hunting goh...keep up the great work! It seems to have posted the win.
Title: Re: Gohar's charitable contribution to the community Post by: Death_Mule17 on May 03, 2014, 07:57 Yes you got a win, but no glory!. When gohar saw you had game locked he thought to himself "Im not taking a loss to this piece o shit noob!, not today". Then he played his little "sleepy gohar" routine so no one freaked on him for quitting. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, make sure to ask gohar why he quit next time he adds two bots and needs to play asap.
gohar is honor -less MB/msm Title: Re: Gohar's charitable contribution to the community Post by: Death_Mule17 on May 03, 2014, 08:02 charitable contribution? my asshole jag,
