buy a keyboard at a thrift store...

It would cost more in postage than for you to pick up a keyboard used. They aren't more than $5. You could panhandle that on the walk to the store.

Ask not what planet mule can do for you but what you can do for Atari400.

Atari400 is offering to comandeer any cast off equipment you have and cobble together the means to host games for you. Is this not enough?

I see a conspiracy here, perhaps the people fear that Atari armed with a new keyboard will become a formbidable opponent, and are conspiring together with other capitalists to keep the means of production illusive.

It  is not  desktop............it is.a a laptop/note/book/so can not get a cheap new/used  keyboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atari the odds of someone in a small community like this having a fit for your laptop and sending it to you are astronomically low. Did you know however that with bluetooth or usb you could use a desktop keyboard? Maybe someone could help you with implementation oof this solution.

My goal is to make you a functioning member of society by the end of the year; but it takes a village to raise an atari.

I will send you one, just need an address - laptop keyboards for that model are all of $15 on ebay.  A desktop keyboard at the local computer store can't really beat that, lol.

But like they all said, you can plug a desktop keyboard into the USB port.  (and a desktop mouse too.)

I saw at Target for $10 a wireless keyboard, you put the little usb receiver into your laptop and then boom, brand new keyboard.
