sorry if this isnt the right forum....How do I or can I adjust the window size to make the planet bigger and the chat/turn window smaller?  even on my 22" lcd i find myself leaning in to see better!

I don't believe you can adjust the size of the planet map. My only suggestion would be to lower your screen resolution as this would make the window appear larger.

Motorman is correct here, either you gotta lower your screen res, or use a desktop zoom tool of some sort (one that works with JAVA and OpenGL)

They did not write this version of mule to rescale the bitmaps used.  The game window itself is 640x480, and the chat included is a default of 640x720 total it seems.  The window can be resized which can make the chat area bigger, but no way of rescaling the graphics.  The bitmaps used are a set size.  These are not rendered graphics, funny since the game uses an OpenGL rendering engine.  3d game tech to run a game that could have had the exact same bitmaps and just used simple redraw techniques used in the days of the 286 under dos with any run of the mill 16-bit vga card.

You can run full screen, which will run at 640x480 (if the mule initialization settings are correct for your computer's setup, I've had to find the config file and change settings for the res change to work right on some of my systems.)  However, you loose the chat window in full screen.
