The reason for this question is, when we originally voted to remove the land sale office, no one was using it, primarily because no one realized it served a useful purpose as far as strategy, and it caused errors when used in M.U.L.E. 1 because of a glitch in the code.  Well, that glitch was fixed, and a strategy was developed to make it useful, and some of us now wish to see it put back into M.U.L.E. 2.  What do you think?

Someone suggested to me that by the time you need to use this, you've already lost. Is that reasonable or does it serve a useful tactic? If so... could someone explain to me as a non expert?

A new strategy was developed in the last year of using it to devalue land in the regular land auctions.  In mule one, when a plot goes to auction and does not sale the next land auction starts at half the price.  Player sold plots in M.U.L.E. give this process an early start before the regular auctions come around.  It's tricky to know when to use it sometimes because you want to make sure you still have more money then any other player when you do it, or you risk loosing your plot.  We actually figured it out before the null pointer error was fixed in M.U.L.E. 1 and so then we started pushing to get the error fixed and now want to see it put back into M.U.L.E. 2.

YES! Land sales is an important part of the game.
I have used it to win before.
