Title: Why does game show up as abandoned? Post by: Leggitte on July 28, 2012, 23:25 Maybe this post should be in the bugs thread, but I've just played a game (and quite an interesting game) and much to my surprise I won! But when I checked the game and chatlog afterwards it seems to stop at round 10 and it shows up as an abandoned game?
This is the game: http://www.planetmule.com/hi-score-game/game?game_id=60226 It says the game was abandoned, but all of us played it out to the end. Is there a problem/error? I want my win! Post by: Chuckie Chuck on July 29, 2012, 15:55 Email Peter about it, has happened before, rare, but happens when the host game client looses connection with the game server. The game can be played independent of the server, so once a game is successfully started, even if the entire planetmule server went down, the game would play to completion, because as far as the actual game goes, the host player is the actual game server. The planetmule server just monitors the logs to keep stats.

Post by: Chuckie Chuck on July 29, 2012, 16:18 I looked at it, and the host bot sent the game completion log on round 10 for some reason and stopped logging, but the other players all logged through round 12, so emailing one of those logs to Peter ought to be enough to get a correction. (Or since you linked to your game, he could even grab the appropriate logs himself.)
