Title: What happened to M.U.L.E 2 beta?

Hi there. I've been enjoying playing Mule2 and for some reason it is not working any more. The latest version I had was "mule2-beta-0.29.0.9".

All forum posts relating to it seems to have been taken down from here too. Did I miss something? Has the project been scrapped or are we waiting for another release?

Whilst I realise it is by no means a finished release, I've enjoyed playing it immensely so am hoping it will be available again (finished or not).

As far as i know mule 2 was due this summer, hope they didnt scrap the game as ive been waiting a long time to play a mule with 5 human players and special abilities. BRING MULE 2 BACK!!

We're glad that you're interested in the new game. It has been removed for the time being, but it will reappear again later. Maybe in another form.

I am really looking forward to it coming back. I like many here grew up playing MULE on my C64 and probably played it more than any other game.

MULE2 whilst not finished has been great fun to play. Sure the A.I's weren't quite perfected and there were a few bugs but overall the few changes made to this game vastly improved the game play, without taking from the original. I particularly like the way the land grant works in it. A very simple innovation yet very effective.

I'll be eagerly waiting the return of this great game.

Yes!! Mule 2 is awesome... only mule to have 5Players so far. I hope its out soon as it will have some competition...bigtime!! Doesn't this make it a non-starter? Or will they still continue the project without the funding?

I guess that most of games are cheaper to make. They just put that higher amount to ~~trick~~ attract people. But most possibly they can make the game with much less money than that.

That looks awesome, and I also hope they will get MULE 2 Ironed out, but I think the biggest help may be if they blend the lobby for PM and Mule2 together, and make it selectable at the start of a game, which you want to play when it's all finished.
