Planet M.U.L.E. has done an excellent job of reviving this classic game, especially tournament mode. However, it is not exactly like the original. As is, player race has no bearing, the wumpus is too easily caught by each player every turn until the last mountain plot is taken and the amount of MULES able to be placed in a single turn feels double to the original tournament mode. With these things in mind, I personally would like to see the town outfitters randomized, perhaps even the Crystite Probe dealer, Land Auctioneer, Bar and MULE Seller randomized as well.

I'm curious how other players feel about the proposed changes.

It could be a fun change, if it changed round to round, I'd probably tend to just grab whatever is closest to the door on which ever side of the map I'm developing until round 7, lol.  As long as I have a food and energy plot, and time to move around, I don't really care, could be a great advantage for crystite switching if the crystite ended up on the right end of the store on some rounds. :)
