Try Video Card Driver updates

Also, even with latest drivers, I still have a problem when making or joining a game, I have to flip back to lobby tab and back to game tab before the graphics will pop up on my screen.  Minor glitch I've learned to live with.

+1 on Intel GPU, no problem on ATI legacy GPU (and old driver)

I have an Intel GPU in a Sony Viao notebook.  Sony doesn't even provide working drivers, I got my current driver direct from intel, and the installer wouldn't install it, I had to install it manually through device manager.  (My card has an OEM lock the installer checks for to make sure the driver is certified to work with my card, my card fails the test and they instruct to get a driver from the OEM)

Please tell us if you've managed to solve the problem by downloading new drivers. If not please post your log file found in the data directory (log_init.txt and log.txt) and we might be abel to help you. Note that you do not need to download Java if you're using Windows.
