Couldn't agree more, also please stop auctioning that turn if a plot doesn't sell... the flow of game dynamics have been hurt here as well imo.

Then at least force someone to buy if they have driven the price outside of other people's potential.

If there were a method in place to prevent the "run up the price just to spoil the auction" gambit, I wouldn't mind there being so many auctions.  As it is, the overly plentiful auctions combined with having to wait soooooo long for the spoiler to push the price up, and then fall back (resulting in nothing happening, game-play wise) is just boring to have to sit through.

I pray the programmers spend some time playing 4 player original MULE.  That is the only way they will get a feel for the timings of the game.  It makes you really appreciate how good of a programmer he/she was.  Only 48k to work with and the game still has not been duplicated with gigs of ram and i7 quad cpus.

The auctions are too often and the speed of the money increase is way too fast.

As for timings on plot selection they probably need to put in a lag timer so the person in last place gets the plit he wants.  Something like a .5 sec delay on people ahead of you.  The guy in first place should not be able to get the plot ahead of the guy in last place if they press their buttons at the same time.  This is probably due to internet lag.

How about slider bars for the settings so people can customize things themselves. Set the amount of events to your liking when playing non tournement games and limit the auctions to like 6 max for tournement games.

Easy fix...have auctions but after 6th month, they startat 5K and players who go up to bid, can not go below BUY line thereby forcing a player to buy the plot.

Also, as a fellow Muler suggested, MAX 1 plot in a round.

I dont agree with Trebor1234 at all !!! Knowing that you only have 1 auction per round kills the strategy and waiting until the 6th Huh Just have less auctions is the easy fix!

There is nothing wrong with a lot of auctions.
Just require that if you raise the high bid, you cannot retreat off the bottom.

Just played a game today and nobody could buy a plot because one of the players kept raising the Plot price to like $3200 and then dropping off screen at the last second! This needs to be fixed!
