There will be another MULE 2 public beta test session at:

We would be glad if you could join us and playtest the game.

The game requires Java to be installed. Click here to make sure it is:

You must allow the security request that pops up when you enter the page.

Use your Planet Mule username/password to login.
There's a chat box you can login to and ask for help during the test session if you run into any problem.

    Now we have basic A.I.!

The A.I. is simple but will be improved next week.

I just tried MULE 2 for the first time. I LOVE IT!! I wish I could play in the test match, but I won't be able too. Hopefully next time.

hallo ich schreibe das jetzt mal auf deutsch . Englisch würde zu lange dauern.

ich habe Mule2 am 30.03.2011 getestet und bin begeistert . Viel bessere Grafik und die Idee mit der gleichzeitigen Landwahl ist sehr innovativ .
Was ich auch toll finde ist , daß in Anlehnung an das Originalspiel die Eigenschaften der einzelnen Figuren viel besser zur Geltung kommt. Auch die Auswahl der Spielfiguren in umgekehrter Reinfolge des Spielergegnisses ist eine sehr gute idee.
Ihr müsst genau in dieser Richtung weitermachen !!

Vielen dank für diese beta Version.

do you think it would be possible for you guys to start a simple change log? all it would need is a list of bugs fixed and a list of new features added. that'd be nice as a reference when testing a new version.

We do have an internal list of changes for each version. We should start posting that. But it may need some minor cleanup to be possible to understand for people outside the dev team.

I love M.U.L.E. 2, you did a great job....but please please please please fix the server so it dosn't stop in the middle of a game....its seems to do fine when its just you vs. a bot, but when you get more then 1 person and bot into the game....BAM! lockup/freezeup before or by round 10. SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the server.

I have noted this bug myself and made a complaint in another post.  The issue is a bug in the AI when you try to use it in a game with more than one real human player, suddenly the AI has a conflict with species selection.

I have two suggestions.  My favorite is allow multiple players to choose the same species in a round, would cure this apparent bug.  Option #2, reprogram the AI to distinguish what species are not available properly.

THANK YOU Chucki Chuck!!!!! thank you for answering my post, i thought my post was going to fall on deaf ears, and be forever lost in the deadzone....good to see that i am not the only person haveing this problem. Again I LOVE THE MULE 2!!! YOU DID AN AWSOME JOB on the remake.....screw what these little young punks think of the game, i have been with this game since my other computer was a C64, and i appreciate the upgrade EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! FANTASTIC JOB!!! you all deserve a pat on the back, and a great big thank you from the M.U.L.E community, but instead, its alot easier to tear down then it is to build up. Don't get me wrong, i love the online M.U.L.E that is available for FREE to the public, but man, going that extra mile to do a fantastic job with M.U.L.E 2 is more then we deserve. But, the moment you get the M.U.L.E 2 server up and running flawlessly, i know where you will be finding me everyday. So, again, a BIG THANK YOU for responding to my (and i hate to say it) complaint, and if there is anything i can do to help, i am your MULEY.

I have mixed feelings about picking a different species each round.  I see issues with it.  That happens to be where the bug is as well.  In multiplayers games with AI included, AI gets confused at this point in the game by the third round and tries to choose a species that a human player already picked.  Brings the game to a complete halt.
