I have tried playing 5 or 6 games with 2 or 3 different profiles and of those have only been allowed to complete 1!!! Why (and how) do people keep keeping others off the game.  Do people actually care more about their winning stats.  Get fricking life people! Grow up.  Let us just play the game.  Now whe I join others comment, "Oh, look he abandons games, I don't want to play with him..."  I WAS BOOTED, I DID NOT QUIT!
Whatever mechanism allows this NEEDS to be removed from the 2.0 game if that ever becomes a reality!
I was hoping this would be a fun thing to do, not frustrating.
Thanks for letting me vent.

You need to stick with one profile and build a reputation at planetmule. In the beginning it wont be easy to get into games and we all had to go through it. Get some games under your belt and dont quit then you will be fine. There is no reason to be mad at older players for booting you. New players quitting or troublemakers showing up with fresh new profiles have ruined things for the legit new guys. I have tried to give new guys a chance before only to get burned time and time again. NO MORE! Sorry to all the honest guys out there. Play a quality game, dont quit and dont be a Sockmonkey and the respect will come your way.

So, what you're saying is, if I stick with the game long enough to stop getting kicked-out by players like you, I, too, can start kicking players off when it looks like I am going to lose to them, so that they will the get annoyed and hate the game (never to return), and eventually there will only be a core group of players with seniority.  Wow, this is great gaming community [blatant sarcasm].
I have an idea for you , and you 'senior' player friends that boot players with less of a record behind them: instead of kicking off players that you don't want, just don't play with those players.  Why ruin everybody elses chance to enjoy the game because of your self-imbued righteousness?  It is a game. Would you all really prefer to play with the AI players?  If so, that is possible, too.
I'd like to say thanks for your honesty Mt-Wampus, but, I'm just not feeling it today.
Peace.

Who is kicking you? Can you leave a link to a game you were kicked from?

The kicking mechanism must be there - what if someone walks away from the game or a users poor connection locks up the game so it is frozen indefinitely?

It's true that a lot of players are wary of playing unknown quantities (*with good reason), but what you are describing about people just deciding to kick you in the middle of a game because you are new sounds very unusual, and leads me to believe you either had a run-in with a few bad apples or there may be some misunderstanding such as your connection was idling and you were kicked automatically, not by a person. I hope you can figure it out and stick around.

*Anyone can just quit and ruin the game at any time. This is a very cool game and the dynamics are very much compromised if a computer player takes over. This is why reputation is so important. Remember the game takes an hour and a half and pretty much demands full concentration. Nobody wants it to be a headache to play MULE (like you said, it should be fun). There are plenty of people that will play a new player, but you have to understand why many won't....

Hope to play you sometime..
