Isn't the last round auction not supposed to effect the scores?

Here's my question:

In the 12th round of game DNX-3795 ( http://www.planetmule.com/hi-score-game/game?game_id=14692), the player Drivefast purchased all items from YaMama for extremely high prices ($500+ each).  

Did this somehow unfairly inflate YaMama's total score?  

Comparing the 11th and 12th round figures: YaMama's cash went up $13k, while Drivefast's went down $10k.  Another interesting observation (from the log) "drivefast has the same IP address as YaMama"
