Title: 1/28/10 - issue with Lobby and update Post by: Sgt York on January 28, 2010, 21:27 Just wanted to let people know.. in case anyone else is having the same problem...
I have had MULE a few weeks now. Several of the updates have worked without a problem. However, today, the game wouldn't launch and wouldn't say there was an update either. The game wouldn't start. I reinstalled it, and it seems to be working again. HOWEVER, there is also a bug now in the forum. It shows there are OPEN games, but when you go to join, you get a message that it has already started. It doesn't seem to be updating when they launch. 2 others that joined a game I started, said they were having the same problem. Just FYI..... Right now, all 4 games listed are showing round 0 of 12. At about 2pm (central time), I played a game called Mahool (54.90). No record of that game exists, as far as I can tell (using game listings by user). After we finished, the game lingered in the lobby listing, too.

No change in rank or status. I exited the game and relogged in, to see if the update is stuck on only load time - but that didn't show any difference either.

I just finished a game, and when I went to profile to look at it, and/or hi-scores, that game does not show as a game I have played.... weird.

Games fail to start so they show up as if they haven't started. Then after a while the server find out that these games are broken and cleans them away. Until that happens they still show up as open in the lobby. We've done a fix which we hope will correct this and we will investigate this further on monday. Please see the thread referenced above. |
