Title: Blinking in 1.3.3 Post by: Nannerpus on September 30, 2010, 20:06 There's a minor issue -- not a bug, more of an anomaly or inconsistency -- with player blinking in the version 1.3.3 Land Auctions. Here's a game log http://www.planetmule.com/hi-score-game/game?game_id=31504 (http://www.planetmule.com/hi-score-game/game?game_id=31504) where there were two plots auctioned during turn 3. The first was won, paid with a price that would preclude any subsequent plots being bought during (possible) turn 3 auctions. One additional plot was auctioned, and a player stepped up to the buy line & their avatar started to blink. The plot was not awarded, but the minimum price was above the maximum amount the blinking player could pay.
So: no harm, no foul. Just a visual anomaly. In subsequent auctions where no player could afford the plot offered, nobody's avatar would blink if they stepped to the buy line. So it may be a problem only when the player's cash shortfall is less than $4. Otherwise the new auctions are fantastic, well done Turborilla & thank you for all your hard work! I would think that your analysis is correct and it should be a quick fix. |
