Update Release 1.3.0

There’s a new version of Planet M.U.L.E. available. Your game will automatically update itself the next time you start it. There are two main new game changes:

  • Players must walk all the way down to the start bid to exit the Land Auction. The maximum price will also go down when the player backs out. This prevents players from blocking the auction by raising the price to an amount noboy would want to pay and then back out.
  • Hosting scores have been added. This score is meant to measure the reliability of a hosting player. Hosts who finish several games without dropping players are awarded a high reliability classification (Very Good), while hosts who drop several players get a low rating (Bad). You can read more about the hosting scores here.

Then there are several minor changes:

  • A game session will start if all players and the host have pressed ready. Visitors no longer have to be ready.
  • A sound is played when a new game appears in the lobby
  • A scrollbar is added in the user list if there are many visitors in a game session.
  • Fixed an issue where the game could crash if a new Visitor enters.
  • Fixed an issue with computer players remembering crystite locations between games sessions.
  • Fixed meteorite strike not shown if it happens a second time.
  • Fixed an issue which let computer players win more in the pub.
  • Fixed an issue with the Land Auction sale sign which could crash the game.
  • Fixed an issue in the Land Grant which could crash the game.
  • Fixed AI library on 64 bit Linux.
  • Fixed an issue which would freeze the game in Development.
  • Other minor fixes.

Please report any bugs you might encounter in our forum.
