There are 2 things you can do right now to prepare for a quick game setup later:
1. Choose your preferred race: After having registered and logged in, you can see the “Profile”-link in the top-right corner of the webpage. Click on it and you can choose one of the 8 races. (Notice that you can’t choose to play a Mechtron, as they represent the computer A.I.). All races are created equal, so no longer has the human a disadvantage, nor the Flapper a money-bonus.
2. If you have a firewall or router, enable port 6260.
If you start a new game, you are the host and need to have the port open for other players to join.
If you join a game that someone else is hosting, you don’t need to have the port open.
