Hey folks, I'm thrilled to find this remake!  M.U.L.E. was one of my all-time favourite games on the c64, and Planet M.U.L.E. looks to be a very faithful remake.

I do have a couple of questions I hope you can help me with though.

I'd love to play with my girlfriend and housemates, but I can't find any way to play hotseat with more than one player.  Do we have to all play on separate computers, rather than gathered around the TV on one?  That seems to miss a bit of the social boardgame-style play that was part of the charm of the original if so.

Presumably we could all create accounts and at least join the same game via the lobby?  I'm not sure I'm quite ready to leap into competitive play after a 15+ year break!  (And I'm quite sure that they - never having played the game - aren't!)

I think they should allow for hot seat, and a simple up and down movement for the auctions/plot selection.  Of course any game played via hot seat would be considered training, you shouldn't even need the lobby.

I remember squeezing around a C64 to play this game.  I agree with your social argument too.  I play lots of boardgames both online and in person, and you lose out on a lot of interaction when it's online.
