- Q: I don’t understand anything of this game!?

- Q: Why can’t other people join the games I create?
A: Planet M.U.L.E. uses port 6260 with both UDP and TCP traffic. If your computer is connected to a NAT router you must forward port 6260 to to your local IP address. If you have a firewall enabled, for example the default Windows firewall, you may have to add an exception for port 6260. Please refer to www.portforward.com for more intructions:- Select your router from the list of routers on their first page.
(Routers usually have a sticker with its name and model number printed on it.) - After selecting router click the Default Guide link in the text area at the top.

- Q: The game is black, flickers or doesn’t start.
A: This is probably due to outdated graphics drivers. Please download the latest drivers for from your vendor’s website. The most common vendors are:
- Q: I get an error that says “Failed to initialise LWJGL Display“.
A: Probably outated graphics drivers. See the answer above.
- Q: I got an error while playing the game or the game freezes.
A: Please write a post in the Bug Reporting forum and describe what happened.
- Q: I use Linux and the game doesn’t start!
A: To play Planet M.U.L.E. you must install Java from Sun. Please follow the instructions at www.java.com.
