- Double-click the downloaded zip file to open it.
- Drag the folder "mule" to the destination where you want to install the game.
- Open the mule folder.
- Double-click mule.exe.
- If a security warning from your firewall or anti-virus program appears click allow or add exception

To run the game you must install Java from Sun. Download it from www.java.com. The GNU Java version included in for example Ubuntu will not work.
- Unzip the downlaoded file to the destination where you want the game installed.
- Open the extracted folder called "mule".
- Run "mule.sh" to start the game.

- Make sure that you're logged in as a user with write permissions in the
/var/gamesand/usr/gamesdirectories. - Right click the downloaded package file and open it with the package installer.
- Alternatively, run "
dkpg -i mule_1.2.4-1_all.deb". - The package installer will halt and wait for you to accept the Java license agreement.
- You have to show the terminal in the package installer to view the agreement and type "yes".
- After installation browse to
/usr/games - Run mule.desktop
Troubleshooting
If the game doesn't start, flickers or appears black it's most likely that you have outdated graphics drivers. New drivers are free to download and can be found at your vendors website:
If the sound isn't working or is distorted you should try downloading new sound drivers from either your motherboard vendor (integrated sound chips) or sound card vendor.
